Mostly lacing. Aroma: mild smoked malts, farmhouse yeast and esters. Taste: plenty of farmhouse yeast, grains, esters and pepper. Tart finish. Next one please!

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - attractive amber to red. Creamy white head. Nose - dank, blackberry and candied lemon. Taste - blackberry, parma violet and redcurrant. Tart edge. Palate - light to medium bodied, tart middle and finish. Overall - quite nice.

Can from Cornelius, Leith Walk. Deep golden body with a light haze and a thin off-white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of yeast, bread and berries. Flavour of grain, musty yeast, white pepper and a subtle fruity finish. Medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. An interesting, nicely judged beer.
