Red amber. Aroma is ricola mint sage lime juice, fruit tea. Taste is sweet bonbon with some mint bitterness. Rather watery. Very sweet finish. Finish of hops and honey. Not my favourite. Not a fan of mint.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark filthy brown with a small beige head. Aroma is quite muddled, with earthy malt, moderate roast, and burnt caramel. Flavour is likewise burnt and muddled, with ashy burnt notes, earthy malt, and a touch of bready caramel. Yeasty, muddled and burnt. A totally incoherent mess.

330ml bottle thanks to herrklemann. First Bulgarian rating for me. Pours murky amber with an enormous head, took some time to pour this bottle. Aroma is light and fruity, citrus and grassy notes. Taste of light sweet citrus fruits, grains, light bitter finish. Medium body, quite fizzy in the mouth, it's over-carbonated for me. Tastes more like a hoppy Golden Ale than an APA.

Bottle drank in Gabrovo - sourced from Kanaal in Sofia. Pours lightly hazy orange-gold, effervescent, with a frothy, white head. The nose holds damp grains, ripening citrus fruits, some pine needles. Light to medium sweet flavour with further bready, grainy character, some aged citrus peel, low bitterness, crackers. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with slight grassy bitterness, more damp grains, stale bread. A little awkward.

Bottle at the flat in Gabrovo - picked up at Nosferatu in sofia. Pours clear honey-gold with a small, foamy topping. Lots of musty apple in the aroma, hay bales, old lemon. Light sweet flavour with brisk acidity, tons of musty and dry apple character, barn straw, apple skins. Medium bodied with massaging carbonation. Very dry to close, with further musty farmyard, tart green apples, bitter peel, a little citric bite. Subtle alcohol warmth lingers. Overall, an excellent cider.
