Das Bier, weshalb ich eigentlich gekommen war und mit dem ich meine Kollegen etwas schockieren konnte.
Ein mit Austernschalen 🐚 gebrautes Stout ⚫️.
Dabei hat es neben den klassischen, trockenen 🐫 und malzigen 🧇 Stout-Aromen einen leichten Einschlag nach Meersalz 🌊 und etwas Kalk 🪨, aber keinerlei Fischigkeit.
Es war ganz gut zu trinken, wenn auch nicht perfekt.

Nach dem Rosenkuss-Bier🌹 war es schwer mich noch weiter zu begeistern, aber dieses Bier hat es wohl geschafft.
Selten fand ich so schön abgestimmtes, blumiges 🌷🌻 Bier, das dazu so tolle Fruchtnoten 🍑🍓🥝 hatte.
Es war eine wirkliche Freude es zu trinken. Kann ich wirklich sehr empfehlen 🥰.

Bevor unsrere große Firmen-Weihnachtsfeier losging, machte ich einen Abstecher ins 1516er, um die Neuigkeiten zu probieren. Denn Anfang machte dieses Wild IPA, das ich fast schon als Session bezeichnen würde, da es ziemlich leicht 🧚♂️und spritzig 🏄♀️ war. Dazu hatte es schöne heftige 🍄🟫 und blumige ⚘️ Noten.
Zum Essen zu schwach, aber wirklich schön gestaltet und eine Freude auf der Zunge 😝👅 .

On tap at 1516, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is pretty muted, with earthy hops, light citrus, and bready malt. Flavour is not all that expressive, with mineraly notes, bittering hops, and a touch of citrus. Mineraly, over-carbed, without any great hop expression. Not disastrous but really not great.

On tap at 1516, pours a hazy bright red with a small beige head. Aroma reveals bready malt and not much else—boring nose. Flavour has a little more life, with bready malt and a touch of red berry. Clean and drinkable but not interesting.

On tap at 1516, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has a citrusy, floral hop character, and soft bready malt. Flavour has an invigorating hop expression—floral, citrusy and tropical fruits—with a soft bready malt underbelly. Clean and well-brewed. Solid.

11.12.2015: 0,25l on tap at the brewpub. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells grainy, bready, some tobacco, ok smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes quite bready, cereal, light tobacco, some grass, light herbs. finishes a bit dry with bread and grain notes. decent, typical lager, overall not very special though, a bit boring overall

Rerate 16.04.2025: 0,25l on tap at the brewpub. yellow hazy color, small white head. smells earthy, grassy, herbal, tobacco, bit peppery, light grains. medium body, soft carbonation. tastes grassy, earthy, herbal, tobacco. finishes lightly bitter with notes of tobacco and earthy notes. pretty decent one, not great, the Gretchen Lager was a lot better.

0,25l from tap at the brewpub. Amber hazy, small white head. smells pines, ripe fruits, mango, pineapple, tobacco. full body, soft carbonation. Tastes ripe fruits, mango, pineapple, pines, tobacco. finishes lightly bitter with notes of mango, pinapple and piney notes. good stuff, by the looks and also the taste not super new england, more like a mix between westcoast and east coast IPA, pretty good none the less.

Smells smoky, roasty, earthy, tobacco, smoky, light marzipan, nutty. medium to full body, soft carbonation. tastes smoky, rather roasty, tobacco, earthy, smoky, light marzipan, nutty. finishes roasty bitter with notes of smoke, tobacco and marzipan. really good one, pretty dark to still call it a Märzen, leaning in the stout direction. Very enjoyable beer.

0,25l from tap at the brewpub. yellow lightly hazy color, small white head. smells bread, grass, earthy, light tobacco. good to very good smell. medium body, soft carbonation. tastes bready, light grassy, tobacco, earthy, earthy. finishes lightly bitter with notes of bread, grass and tobacco notes. Very good, super drinkable, really enjoyed this.
