Description
Brewed in Silchester and drawing inspiration from new world hops, Germany’s malts and beer styles from across the globe, we vow to make your drinking experience as enjoyable as our brewing.
The Brewery was taken over in early 2022. The new owner then bought Boss Brewing Company in Swansea. Boss went into liquidation, but restarted, and in 2023 Wild Weather closed the Silchester site and relocated to join Boss in Swansea.

Tap. Lyric, Soho. Murky gold. Film of clingy, white head. Lots of juicy orange and tangerine on the nose. Peachy hop. Sweet biscuit malts. Taste is pink grapefruit bittersweet. Palate is crisp and clean. I’d never guess at the ABV being so low. Finishes crunchy, pithy bitter. Fantastic sessioner.

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. I strongly suspect that this is a rebadge of Sundowner - as all the Co-Ale-ition beers are rebadges. A lively pale amber pour with a tight cream head; floral aroma with some citrus in the background; crisp fruity citrus taste with a grainy body; and some sharp bitter grapefruit to finish. An unexciting citrusy summer ale.

Cask at the Cambridge Blue, Cambridge on 26th June 2015. Slightly hazy copper with off-white foam and plenty of lacing. Caramel malts and earthy yeasts in aroma. Leafy herbiness in-mouth with fine citric tang on the tongue. A touch of phenol. Grassy, bitter finish. Lightly zingy mouthfeel and fair body for strength.

Cask. Appearance is black, with no head at all apart from a few beige bubbles. Aroma- vanilla, heavy on the whisky, dark chocolate, very boozy. Taste- loads of bourbon sweetness, some chocolate and roast malt very much in the background, quite a thin mouthfeel. Tastes a lot stronger than the abv. A bit unbalanced and messy.
