In 2012, The Harbour Brewing Co. was just a fledgling idea: to brew proper beer reflecting the land (and shores) from where it came. Taking the best raw ingredients - awesome hops, Cornish spring water tapped straight from the source - and bringing them to life through dedication to technique. The concept evolved by the ocean - hence, 'Harbour' - but the beer came into being on the farm. There is joy in returning to the roots of the ingredients. And the heritage of the space, of the land, of the ocean, remain our inspiration. Everything clicks; the farm is Harbour's home.

440ml can from Harbour. Best Before date was 8 months previous, but tasting really nice, quite robust coffee expressions, mild roast and a berry-like fruitiness emerging. Nicely done.

Can from ASDA Supermarket, Manchester. Very hazy golden with a bubbly-frothy head. Citrus-fruity brew, advertised as grapefruit and although this is evident it’s very low tasting in reality, making it low in bitterness too. Nevertheless it’s a pleasant enough effort.

330ml can - Pours a hazy yellow gold colour with a small white head. The aroma is bready malt, orange, peach and floral notes. A moderately sweet taste, sweet biscuity malts, peach, orange, mango and a light bitterness.

Draft at The Marquis Cornwallis. Clearish deep golden color, large fluffy white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of mixed stonefruit. Taste has subtle fruit, light pine, light bitterness. decent enough
