About
In 2012, The Harbour Brewing Co. was just a fledgling idea: to brew proper beer reflecting the land (and shores) from where it came. Taking the best raw ingredients - awesome hops, Cornish spring water tapped straight from the source - and bringing them to life through dedication to technique. The concept evolved by the ocean - hence, 'Harbour' - but the beer came into being on the farm. There is joy in returning to the roots of the ingredients. And the heritage of the space, of the land, of the ocean, remain our inspiration. Everything clicks; the farm is Harbour's home.

Self-pour service, about 100ml, tap at Tap House Notts. Close-to-clear golden body, spotty lacing from a slowly dissipating white head. Moderate nose, pale malts, grass, and dusty hops. Blended taste of cereal malts and noble hops. Mid-dry, pale malt-fruity end. Easy to drink, and easy going. (Nottingham 11.10.2022).

Veldig lys gylden. Vassen. Nesten klar. Middels høyt kremaktig skum. Daler sakte & etterlater teppelacing. Sitrusaroma. Smaken ananas. Tørr fruktig - lett bitter - avslutning.

Som «Tap House Lager». Veldig lys gylden. Som skittent vann. Luftig filmskum. Tynn teppelacing. Aroma av sitrusfrukt & malt. Smaken ditto. Mest malt i en forsiktig bitter avslutning.

660ml Bottle from Morrisons. Pours a clear light golden colour with a large throthy white head. Aromas of citrus lemon and a fair amount of herbal notes. Taste is quite bready with more of the citrus and herbal notes and also some peppery spice. Mild earthy hops hanging on the finish. Medium body, fairly low carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Not a bad beer, quite smooth but a bit too herbal for me personally.

375ml bottle from the brewery, shared with Soph and Ewan in the Quarry. Pours a deep gold with a prominent mixed botanical aroma. Taste delivers a floral sweet blend of lemon, gin, botanicals and a light hint of vanilla on the finish. Pretty good.

330ml bottle from the brewery. Shared with Soph and Ewan in the Quarry. Misty yellow pour, good white head. Vibrant floral brett aroma, nicely sweet bretty character to taste, having blossomed beautifully over the last 3 years in bottle. Excellent brett saison.

330ml can from the brewery. Misty pale yellow appearance, small white head. Not too much going on in the aroma, mild citrus I suppose. Taste is thin, a touch watery with mild tropical citrus notes. Bit disappointing.
