About
In 2012, The Harbour Brewing Co. was just a fledgling idea: to brew proper beer reflecting the land (and shores) from where it came. Taking the best raw ingredients - awesome hops, Cornish spring water tapped straight from the source - and bringing them to life through dedication to technique. The concept evolved by the ocean - hence, 'Harbour' - but the beer came into being on the farm. There is joy in returning to the roots of the ingredients. And the heritage of the space, of the land, of the ocean, remain our inspiration. Everything clicks; the farm is Harbour's home.

440ml can. Poured a hazy dark pink colour with a big fizzy white head. The aroma is raspberries, light yeast. The flavour is moderate sweet and sour, with a crisp, juicy, tart raspberry, light grapefruit palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

Can from Aldi Supermarket, Manchester. Hazy blonde coloured with a thinnish head. Well meaning beer but is a simple bland hoppy session beer with a hint of citrus to it.

30th May 2022; Shrewsbury Beer Share Evening in Chez Sophie. Five guys enjoying themselves. Cheers Mat for the 375ml bottle of this (BB 2019?). Hazy golden body, white topping. Wild, semi-sour feel to this one, not like any other 'Barley Wine' I can remember ever having at all.

375ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, May 22. Brought by me, bought at Harbour Brewery. Misty gold pour with a good pure white head. Aroma is fruity sweet with noticeable brett. Taste presents a fruity brett feel, the sweetness bolstered by the 9.5% strength. Doesn't bare any resemblance to a barley wine whatsoever, but definitely very tasty for what it is.

Straw blond colour with lasting head. It's a pleasant and well balanced beer with a nice dry finish. Misses a little body.

Straw blond with light haze and big fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have some grassy hop notes. Refreshing bitter and easy to drink.

330ml can from Lidl. Pale gold in colour, with a slight, off-white, head and small haze. Citrus hops, with some sweetish white bread malts, hay, a touch of tangerine and moderately dry finish. Good.
