Description
In 2012, The Harbour Brewing Co. was just a fledgling idea: to brew proper beer reflecting the land (and shores) from where it came. Taking the best raw ingredients - awesome hops, Cornish spring water tapped straight from the source - and bringing them to life through dedication to technique. The concept evolved by the ocean - hence, 'Harbour' - but the beer came into being on the farm. There is joy in returning to the roots of the ingredients. And the heritage of the space, of the land, of the ocean, remain our inspiration.
Everything clicks; the farm is Harbour's home.

Bottle 56/600. Pours copper & clear, beige cap. Aroma: some dried fruits & caramel. Taste: moderate sweet, dry on the palate, light rich, boozy. Thin body, somewhat insipid. Maybe this hasn't lasted, I dunno.

[66cl bottle at 4.3% ABV from Morrisons, Bracknell.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a thin white head and gentle carbonation; cereal aroma with a touch of damp straw; sweet grainy body with a sticky mouthfeel; and a dry finish with some grass and herbs. A rather ordinary lager.

Can from Lidl. Clear pale golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of garden peas and lemon. Flavour of straw and the faintest whiff of grassy hops. Thin body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. This has very little flavour.

750 ml bottle. Pours unclear gold with white foam. Aroma: sour apple, cider apple, apple vinegar, light lemon, apple skin funk . Taste: sharp, acidic, prominently tart at first but mellowed a little over time. Medium body with moderate carbonation. 750 ml of this was a struggle

660ml bottle kindly shared by Finn at a session with him, Synny, and Imojoh. Covering white head leaving dotted spots on the glass, misty pale golden body. Moderate smell of ripe fruits and grassy hops. Mixed taste of doughy malts, lime, and a lemon bite. Ripe fruity ending. Soft carbonated. Accepted (Tromsø. 20.12.2023).
