A rather standard NEIPA. Perfectly drinkable overall, some generic fruit purée vibe, mild rindy bitterness, pale bread. Bit of mango and tangerine. No chalk. Fairly clean. Nice one.

This rating propels me up to Level 51. 16 ounce can from Laurenti’s ShopRite Liquors in Mercerville. Hazy orange pour. Small frothy beige head. Aromas of orange, melon, mango and lemon. Tangy tropical fruit flavors on first sip. Sweet orange, lemon, apricot, white wine and mango stand out. Moderate juiciness. A hint of citrus dank in middle. A bit pithy on backend. Pleasant enough, and certainly welcomed on a cloudy, rainy afternoon on the patio.

Can from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours clear light amber with a moderate off-white head. Caramel aroma. Med body. Malty but not all that sweet. Enough bitter to balance. Goes kind of toasty/bready. Can't pin down the hop. Floral?

W smaku balans słodowej słodyczy i lekkiej kwaśności z chmielową, grapefruitową goryczką.
Alkohol idealnie ukryty. Nasycenie średnie w górę. Tekstura gładka, miękka, puszysta. Ciało pełne. Posmak długi, chmielowy.

16oz can from my brother. Clear reddish/amber pour, bubbly head fades quickly. Malty leathery aroma with notes of tobacco, brown sugar and tea. Taste is sweet, toffee, malty, woody, molasses. Everything is right about this English style Barleywine (except for the ABV)

Appearance: semi-thick orangey burnt coloring which somewhat looks like puree; then a quickly dieing frothy white head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: passion fruit - check, orange pulpy sweet tones - check; guava comes through in a sweet way
Flavor: leans towards the sweet side conglomerating the prior noted aromatic fruity tones then underscored by a wee bit of tart/overly ripe notes
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe a wee bit closer to medium but really not by much; somewhat sessionable with a decent smoothness about it; good carb level
Overall: in my opinion, this seems more of a fruit beer than a sour ale but hey who's arguing when we all know this was still brewed well. Probably best to leave it at that as I would enjoy this again.
