3$ pounder can from chalet. Nose is rather mild sweet hop perfume, no sign of booze in the olfactory. Near pale milk shake eye, thin pond silk white head. First taste is mean; think rotting fermenting unripe green grapefruit rinds blended with a little pine tar sap in a food processor. Gentle warming sensations. Surprizingly, this is not as mouthcoating nor viscous like so many other domestic double IPAs. However, make no mistake, it is a full-hearted manly drink; rugged, brave, robust and sturdy. Its terribly on style with its masculine, virile, macho manful of insolence. The only hope for me, a macro pale lager lover, is if its ABV can deaden my brain cells soon, so I don't have to suffer the pounding its putting on my girlie taste buds and palate. So be it. If you like IPA, try this one out if you come across it in yer travels, you'll not be disappointed. Me? Just another cheap tick for the tikken whore! LoL - Can somebody please get me an ice cold pale lager macro, for a chaser?
