Aromas are mild, mainly resin with a bit of citrus. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, starting sweet going to a bitter finish and enough carbonation to balance. Some more sweet at the very end. Decent but not great.

16oz can from Brewexport UK. A near black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Rich, sweet, roasty, malty, chocolate, caramel, coffee, fruity, rye taste and aroma. Hardly noticed the 12.6% ABV, went down so easily. Bloody delicious stuff.

12 oz. can from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours a cloudy gold color with a small white head and decent retention. Almost no lacing. Sweet candied coconut aroma. The taste follows the nose: Sweet coconut flavor dominates, with a small amount of banana flavor to keep it in check. A little artificial. A good dessert beer, but too sweet to repeat. Not a lot of cream ale flavor (or beer flavor for that matter). Medium body and low carbonation. No bitterness.
