Unclear medium orange yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, weizen yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average, sweet malt, caramel, wheat, fruity, old yeast, bubble gum, light citrus tart. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20141231]

Aroma is moderate to light heavy honey, cherry notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, honey, spicy honey, cherry sweet, cherry sharp. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20150228]

Bottled@fonefan. Blood red colour, no head. Aroma is floral, some cherries and honey. Flavour is rapberries, some cherries, sweet honey and mild nectary notes. Lovely flavour.

Pale, cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of barnyard, hay and lemon, with a spiced note. Dry and rather thin, tart flavour, with funky notes and some lemon juice

Bottle. A still and headless, clear ruby red mead. The aroma is a bit weak, with honey in the back and some cherry. Vanilla notes too. It’s full-bodied and sticky on the palate, with flavors of honey, cherries and a touch of artificial almond essence and vanilla. Lasting sweet finish. Too sweet and sticky this one, but it’s actually quite nice anyway. 150228

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark golden body, still and headless. Lots of honey on the nose, some grass and flower too. It’s very sweet on the palate, full-bodied and rather honey sweet, but there’s not that much honey flavor. Some orange and flower notes. Lasting honeysweet finish. A quite decent one, but lacking some on complexity. 150228

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden, hazy, quickly collapsing loose White head; mainly yeasty-wheaty nose, raspberries detectable; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light bodied, but still smooth; sweetish-wheaty and yeasty finish with a pretty low acidity. Not bad, but a bit monotonous...

(swing top bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly bready and mildly grainy malty aroma with a delicately citric hoppy touch. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm, if not a bit tame carbonation. Slightly grainy malt character with subtle fruity and slightly herbal accents; slightly sweet and restrained bitter hoppy finish with traces of caramel and herbal spice.
