Description
Already in 1630 a brewhouse was founded on the main square in Pfaffenhofen. The oldest Pfaffenhofen miller (ancestor of the brewing family) is mentioned in official documnts from 1776 and 1779.

Through constant expansion and quality-oriented production, the former brewhouse and later house brewery became a growing and respected brewery over the generations, which has had a significant influence on the cityscape of Pfaffenhofen since then.

Bottle in Munich. Light malty, spicy aroma, clear straw color with lacy head. Flavor is clean with a moderate bitterness, a little spicier than a normal pils due to the dry hopping. Less inspiring than I thought from the name & description on the bottle; I don't get much citrus note. But I'd take it over a mass market pils any day.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Hoppy aroma of citrus, lemongrass, grass, but also hints of urine cake, backed by a mildly malty touch. Mildly bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Initially slightly sweet malty start with mainly fruity and slightly grassy hops from the middle part; quite rounded bitter-sweet finish with notes of tea and grassy hops. According to its price not overly exceptional. 01.V.18

Bottle, 3 month past BB. Hazy orange, low offwhite head. Fairly cheesy oxidized hop aroma. Medium light body. Hayish tinny malt, old flowery hops, really very oxidized. I realize this is past its prime but I have no idea how it got this extremely oxidized after 8-9 month - I had years old pale lagers with less.

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing. Great floral fresh hops in the beginning. Easy to drink, refreshing with lots of citrus floral hops there. Sessionable with only a bit of grain in the aftertaste, fantastic smooth with a great floral citric fresh aftertaste. Great sessionable summer-beer, fruity and refreshing.
