Description
Already in 1630 a brewhouse was founded on the main square in Pfaffenhofen. The oldest Pfaffenhofen miller (ancestor of the brewing family) is mentioned in official documnts from 1776 and 1779.
Through constant expansion and quality-oriented production, the former brewhouse and later house brewery became a growing and respected brewery over the generations, which has had a significant influence on the cityscape of Pfaffenhofen since then.

Bottle picked up from Bernhard Nieder, Attenkirchen and consumed at home Attenkirchen, Thursday 23rd January 2020 whilst cooking a homemade Broccoli, Leek and Gorgonzola Pie and listening to Steve Lamaqs Round Table on 6Music (about to start shortly). Pours clear sparkling gold with a white head, exceptional clarity, looks wonderful. Soft carbonation, light cereal, a little metallic finish, dry, quite like this.

Bottle picked up from Bernhard Nieder Getränke, Attenkirchen and consumed at home Attenkirchen Thursday 2nd January 2020 listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6Music and cooking Conchiglie with Yoghurt, Peas and Chilli. Pours light/mid actually more light gold, excellent clarity with a white head atop. Malty and lightly metallic nose. Sweetness in the flavour department, very soft mouthfeel, a little light syrup, not much hop or bitterness but then the style wasn't ever suggesting it should be. It's perhaps a little simplistic but it's fine.
