(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear pale golden with a tall and lively white head leaving laces. Unclean, sourish and cardboardish aroma. Light-bodied, watery, tart with a dry finish. Utterly unpleasant. 050608

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and pale yellow with a lacing white head. Slight faul rice aroma. Flavour is citric and flat rice. Ends flat rice flavoured. Terrible bland to disgusting. This is just marginally better than the worst beer I’ve had - and this doesn’t seem to be infected :(

Bottle: Golden, hazy, big white loose head; wheaty-phenolic nose, sweetish, with a very shy fruity background; moderate to robust sweetish flavour, light bodied, soft MF; short sweet-wheaty finish with a very faint tartness in the very end. Rather bland Weizen......

Bügelverschlußflasche: Very clear, very pale (golden) with a bigger, almost rocky white head, light to moderate fruity (apples)-vinous nose with a sherry-like undertone; sweetish-sourish flavour, light bodied; light (white-)vinous finish with a light acidity. Tastes like a Weißweinschorle (diluted white wine)......

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, pale golden colour with a big, minimal off-white foamy head. Yeasty, sweet and slightly wheaty nose with distinctive accents of barley malt, accompanied by light fruity notes (apples, banana) and shy phenolic spice. Sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a mellow, almost creamy mouthfeel. Barley- and wheat-malty taste with a restrained fruit-character; medium-dry, sweetish malty and slightly fruity finish. All in all not bad (23.04.08).

(swing top bottle) Slightly unclear, copper colour with a big and dense beige foamy head, slowly lacing. Moderately sweet and quite intense, almost Bock-like toast-malty aroma with chocolate/cacao, caramel and a present herbal hoppy touch. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Solid toast-malty taste with dark chocolate and caramel; moderately dry and bitter toasty finish with a light but balancing herbal hops character. Pleasant Dunkel (18.03.08).

(swing top bottle) Clear, copper colour with a fluffy, but not very persistent frothy beige head. Smells almost a bit “english”, moderately sweet and toasty aroma with liquorice, caramel and a nice resiny hoppy touch, or at least something that evokes the impression. Sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slim malty taste with light notes of caramel and liquorice; medium-dry, sweetish finish with fruity notes. Not bad, at least for a gluten-free beer (18.04.07).

Bügelverschlußflasche: A bit unclear, golden coloured, big rocky, quite stable white head; cellary, almost mouldy nose, sweet-malt and hops only in the background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied; return of the cellary traces in the bitter-sweet finish. Tastes much better than it smells, deserves a second rating.......

Bügelverschlußflasche: Copper coloured, big, quite stable, almost rocky off-white head, sticking to the glass; distinctive dark-malty and caramelly nose with an almost fruity touch of roasted malt; light bodied, moderate sweet-bitter flavour; lingering caramelly and dark-malty finish with a light, but detectable hoppy touch in the aftertaste. Decent, tasty and well rounded Dunkel.......

bottle. Very pale yellow, foamy head. Spicy, citric nose. Very light body, citrus soda. A bit watery, but pleasant refreshing drink, I had worse glutenfree beers.
