"Freiberger Pils", Flasche von Edeka, Berlin. - Goldgelb, völlig blank - man könnte durch dieses Bier noch die Zeitung lesen. - In der Nase recht generische, immerhin frische zitronige Hopfung. - Antrunk sehr schlank hellmalzig mit zarter Restsüße. Frische, aromatisch eher schmalspurige aber nicht unangenehme zitronige Hopfung. Nicht zu rezent. Im Abgang sortentypische Hopfenherbe. - "Voller Charakter", wie das Etikett meint, ist dieses Bier nun gerade nicht, sondern eher schlicht und nur durchschnittlich gehopft. Immerhin brauchbar, wenn es nur irgendein Pils sein soll und keine großen Ansprüche gestellt werden. (Neuverkostung: 28.2.2025.)

Bottled 500ml. -from Heiloo Getränke Leipzig, shared with Marko & Hrabren. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, grainy and light bready nose. Grainy, bready, light green apple and touch of cereals with short sweetish finish.

0.5 l bottle thanks to Ogi, shared with Marko and him. Clear golden, small off-white head. Grainy and lightly estery aroma, hints of apple and rose. A touch of spicy hops. Quite smooth, medium body, light to moderate carbonation. Soft sweetness. Hints of green apple. Minimal bitterness. Light finish.

0.5l bottle courtesy of Ogi who brought it from Heiloo Leipzig and shared with Hrabren and me. Clear golden body, off-white head. Acetaldehyde and relatively clean but slightly grainy maltiness in the sweetish aroma, vaguely metallic. Empty sweetish taste, light acetaldehyde, vague red apple as well... Quite chuggable, but definitely flawed.

Bottled 500ml. -from Heiloo Getränke Leipzig, shared with Hrabren. Brownish coloured, medium sized off-white head, malty and light caramel nose. Toasted malt, caramel, weak dried fruits and touch of alcohol with sweet finish.

0.5 l bottle thanks to Ogi who brought it from Leipzig, shared with prof. Prezbelewsky and him. Unclear amber, small off-white head. Aroma is light caramel and toffee. Moderately hoppy, moderately malty, lightly spicy, alcohol hidden. Quite sweet, medium body, soft carbonation, a bit sugary, finishes too sweet.
