Freiberger 1863, Flasche von Nahkauf, Baruth/Mark. - Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase zart karamellig-brotiges helles Malz und milde herbale Hopfung, die von ferne an Saazer Hopfen erinnert. - Antrunk schlank hellmalzig mit zarten säuerlich-dumpfen Zügen. Mild zitronige und matt herbale Hopfenherbe. Durchschnittlich rezent, erfrischend schlank. Im Abgang milde zitronige Herbe. - An ein richtiges böhmisches Pilsner reicht das zwar noch nicht heran, ist eher ein etwas bemühteres Supermarkt-Bier. Immerhin angenehm zu trinken und deutlich besser als das Billigprodukt Freiberger Pils. (12.5.2020.)

Swing top bottle from kappldav123, thanks! Pale amber color. Cake dough and a hint of flowers in the aroma. Malty bready flowery flavor with hints of herbal hops. Medium to full bodied and a good mix of malt and hops. Just a hint of nutmeg in the aftertaste.
