One of those a wing and a prayer selections from Half Time. The brewery is new for me but I do like the style. 16 oz can severely cooled off, just because. A globe glass prepared to receive the pour, I determine an indistinct yellow-gold body finished by a bare skim of completely white foam. And I see an active carbonation action, good sign going forward. I smell some tropical, some hoppiness, who knows where this is going. The taste is, well, a bit different. More west coast than New England I believe, hoppy, some pine, maybe some kiwi fruit, lemon life saver, a touch of caramel, clover, bread and malt. I get a sensation of a full mouthfeel, maybe attributable to the strong abv. I’ll finish the can but that’ll be it.
