Bonne IPA.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: murky orange to brown color with a one finger white foamy head which dissipated at a nice pace to leave some light lace.
Aroma: some floral to sweet to spicy tones of the rye mostly in front with a nice backing of some earthy & grassy hops, clean malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together - sweet to floral with a side note of the spicy part of the rye; mild aftertaste of sweet & floral parts of the rye
Texture: light to medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper, finishes with the floral and sweet notes of the rye
Overall: not a bad rye IPA but I must say the rye could have been used a bit stronger to use it's full potential.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: amber color with a one finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: some danky hop tones, subtle onion, citrusy, floral and semi-sweet grass hoppiness over some caramel/toffee malts
Flavor: blends the prior mentioned aromas in a fairly sweet sort of way; subtle citrusy to danky aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, fairly smooth along tongue, finishes semi-crisp with some danky hops and citrusy hops
Overall: seems like there's a lot going on in this little pale ale, I'd say it was worth my time trying it and worth my time coming back to if given the chance.
