MòR is Scottish Gaelic for great, so naturally our beers are great too. It can also mean big, just like the flavour we craft into each brew.
All our beer is craft brewed in small batches at our Dundee brewery in Kellas, Tayside.
None of our beer is filtered or pasteurised. Plus it’s all Vegan-Friendly, which means fuller, fresher, longer lasting flavours for everyone.
First brewed early 2012 as Mòr Brewing Ltd. Relaunched in 2019 under new ownership with new recipes, new branding and a trained MSc qualified head brewer.

Very dark ruby beer, thin creamy head. Light malty aroma. Flavour has toasty malt, berries, a touch of toffee, just a little wintry spice. Decent.

Cask at The Justice Mill, Aberdeen. It pours clear blonde golden medium fluffy white. The aroma is quite soft, sweet, peach, apricot, bready malt and some biscuit. The taste is soft, bready, bitter snap, peach, apricot, melon, fruit cocktail, grassy, toasty grain and nuttiness. Finish is dry and fairly short. Light to average body and soft carbonation. An easy going fruity cask pale.

Cask at The Justice Mill. It pours slightly hazy mahogany brown with a thick, dense khaki head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, oily, plenty of dried fruits and berries, cherry, cherry, sultana, cranberry even, fruit & nut chocolate, toffee, baked goods and toasted nut. The taste is firmly dry, bitterness which lingers, chewy, woody, tannin, sappy, dried fruits, kiss of cherry, earthy, some alcohol presence, cola and toasted nut with a lingering bitter, woody finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy cask carbonation. Robust and pretty flavourful. I have been enjoying Mor's recent output.
