Can on the train from Grand Central to Larchmont. Very solid. Moderately soft, with great balance, good dank, juicy citrus, some tropical fruits, mellow rindy bitterness. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced finish with soft alcohol warmth, more juicy citrusd, a little chalky hop powder. But overall damn fine.

Can pour from Total Wine & More, Burlington. Appearance is opaque orange (watered down orange juice) with trace sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width white foamy head with decent retention and decent leggy lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit, tangerine, candied sugar. Taste is bitter part of a pineapple, tangerine, dank, candied sugar. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average-to-lively carbonation and dry finish as taste with lingering bitterness. Overall, the sweetness is somewhat nondescript and a little to the cloying side. A bit overcarbonated. OK.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a softer, lighter-brown coloured head, just one to two centimetres tall in height. Aroma of pure roasted malt, light coffee, a bit of earth, some pitted fruits and a good deal of bitterness with the alcohol coming through towards the end. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich and roasty malt flavours dominate with a lot of sugars right behind, with the noticeable bitterness from the coffees, also showing some chocolate and grainy flavours toward the end. Aftertaste frames the coffee, chocolate and lactose nicely with a slightly creamy texture and flavour along with some more astringent alcohol and bitterness from the coffee. Overall, a nice and rich beer throughout with a bunch of coffee and chocolate elements showing some nuts, earth and pitted fruits that shows a good balance with a full-bodied profile, which hits great for the season. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Bryant Park), New York on 06-December-2019 for US$4,99 sampled on the streets of New York, New York, a few hours later on 06-Decemer-2019.

Can received in trade, thanks Tom! Hazy dark yellow in color with a thin off white head with moderate retention. Tropical citrus earth and grass with a bit of bready malt underneath. Fairly clean not too gritty.

Can from a trade with tfontana. 10/08/19 canning date. Aroma is slight citrus, weak tropical hints. Flavor is pretty subtle. Tropical fruit would be the main flavor. Not one fruit sticks out. Pretty non-descript. Very slight juicy texture. Well, at least this is on the right track for the style.

Can shared in London - big thanks to AdiBeer. Pours murky yellow-gold with a creamy white head. Pithy, with some chalky hop character, citrus rind. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with light warmth, lots of fleshy citrus, light rindy bitterness, dried pale malts. Sound.

Can shared at the Columbus tasting 18/09/2019. Many thanks! A milky hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a film of white head. Aroma is big dank, milky wheat, hot solvent alcohol, spicy pencil woody, green mango. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, green mango, orange rind, sticky hop. Palate is sticky resinous, moderate carboantion, oily. Good stuff.

Level 6 bottleshare. Thanks to Tips for the can. Hazy gold beer, small cream colour head. Soft airy palate, decent fine carbonation. Soft creamy malts. Pine. Slightly spicy citrus, semi dry orange and a little mango. Smooth finish leaves a spicy hop linger. Tidy dipa, easy drinking.
