Bottle 500ml. @ [ Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting, Ulfborg ]. [ As Atlantic Ale (Organic Amber Ale) ].Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, nutty, caramel, earthy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration, earthy, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140301]

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy golden orange, thin short-lived white head. Aromas of ginger, little else. Taste is ginger beer. Bit dominated by the ginger.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear reddish brown, no head. Aromas of light toffee, red fruit. More toffee on the taste. Thin finish.

500ml clear glass bottle, Beers of Europe. Pours murky copper, no head, floaters. Aromas of stewed apples and golden syrup. Taste is a bit fruitier, some herbal hops. Finishes both chewy, and thin. Not great.

500ml clear glass bottle (boo!) from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy yellow, thin white head. Aromas are dusty, old hops, then dusty, old malt. Taste is light sweet, a bit cloying, more dust. Bit fizzy. Overall - floor sweepings.

Pours clear amber, no head. Aromas are light toffee malt, nuts, light herbs. Taste is sweet. But thin, but not bad, and certainly not the buttery beer others seem to have had - a better batch perhaps?

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. If this is the best of the bunch I shudder to think. Clear piss yellow, smells of acrid ginger beer. Taste of cheap limeade and sorrow. Light building chilli burn just adds salt to the wound, to mix imagery. Somehow it ends up sweet. Something I wish I hadn’t discovered.

Aroma is moderate malty, nutty, caramel, butter, butterscotch, light hoppy, grass. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, nutty, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140301]

500ml Flasche. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes orangerotes Bier mit geringer cremigen Schaumkrone. Geruch unangenehm röstmalzig, bitter. Geschmack röstmalzig, muffig, unangenehm würzig bitter, eigenartig.
