On keg at Applecross Inn, Applecross - stanard clear gold body, short head. Fresh grassy, bit herbal, some lemon, fairly clean, but uninspiring.

On cask at Applecross Inn, Applecross - clear copper body with a short lived white head. Malt forward, with fruity caramel and toffee hints.

On cask at Applecross Inn, Applecross - pale yellow, small white top. Biscuity malts, grassy, sharp bitter hop. Nice.

Aroma: lot of burnt caramel, toffee and dried fruits. Taste: caramelly malts, blackberries and molasses. Didn´t expected blackberries. Dry and mild ashy finish. Very nice indeed. Next one please!

Bottle from Aultbea shop. Appearance - deep amber and clear. Creamy off white head. Nose - tart red fruit, probably redcurrant or cranberry. Bready too. Taste - tart red fruit again and herbaceous. Brown bread at the back. Palate - light to medium bodied, dry and bitter finish. Overall - OK. A bit unusual.
