Description
Raw Brewing Company was created from a passion for real ale and an idea that became reality. After several years of enjoying real ale David decided to have a go himself as a hobby to see if he could produce quality real ale. After several months it was clear that the product was good with the assistance from an army of tasters! It was time then to turn this passion and idea into reality Raw Brewing Company was born.

First brewed 14th May 2010. Following financial issues, the brewery was taken over by Silver Brewhouse who still brew their brands. From circa 2021 some Raw beers were released as Silver Brewhouse beers, and the Raw brand was discontinued.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2017, day one - London. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. Good snout, nice citrus and pine hops. Light to medium sweet flavour with some grain bread, floral hops, pine, citrus and grass. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nice finish, lightly resinous, some bitter citrus rind. Good stuff.

Tried at the Derby Winter Beer Festival 2020. Amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma and taste were pina colada. Which was weird. But tasted nice.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Copper-amber with a glow and a creamy head. It's a grittier tasting bitter with a lower bitterness factor, that allows a hint sweetness through.

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a head. Strong tasting with a denser hop but a recognisable dryish pale ale texture, from this some fruitiness.

Two hand-pulled half-pints on 22nd July 2019; Kings Head, Eccleshall. Golden body, white topping that lasted a while. Slightly more hops than malts in both the aroma and taste, refreshing with no real flavours to get into, let's say it has a subtlety to it's depth.
