Bottled "anti-imperialist beer" (BB 11/2006). Golden color, small white head. Sweet corn aroma with hints of diacetyl. Very metallic, malty basic lager. Trace of diacetyl in the background. Typical unclean Latvian lager.

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Sweet skunked, malty aroma with some weak honeyish hints. Sweet malts with barnyardish hints. Aftertaste is mainly barnyard. Barnyard seems to be typical to Latvian beers...

Canned (Cesu Pilsener). Yellow colour, minor white head. Aroma weakly of sweet barnyard. Flavour skunked hops, but also this one very weak. Watery. Mild one, almost like "bad water". Not much hoorays for this one...

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden colour, practically no head. Sweetish with a rather full body. Pronounced bitterness in the finish. In style this reminds me of a German "Export" or perhaps "Extra". Presumably from the oldest brewery in the Baltics. 020104

Nice special bottle - of one Estonian A Le Coq beers, I wonder if beer is also basicly the same.
Pale yellow, small white head. Grassy corn aroma. Malty, crisp and very watery. Like a "Light beer". Too light to be remembered.

An unclear orange beer with no head. The aroma is sour with notes of oranges. The flavor is dominated by metal - a poor version of a European Storng Lager.

A yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sour malty - makes me think of brewing cereal. The flavor is malty with notes of oranges and hops, while the body is thin.
