Thanks to Pål for bringing a 500ml bottle back from Riga. Compact, white head that fades slowly, while leaving lacework on the glassware. Golden-brown body. Light struck of sweet, pale malt in aroma with notes of dried fruits. Earthy malts in flavour developing into hints of caramel slightly sharpened by a weak touch of tart fruits. Soft carbonated. A bit bland in the mouth, however, over par for a pale lager. Food friendly (at home, Tromsø 10.10.2009).

500ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Sweet and malty aroma with hints of corn. The taste is sweet and malty with a sweet and slightly bitter finish. Drinkable, but gets a bit sweet and sickly after a while.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Malty aroma with a hint of grain and lime. Sweetish malty taste with corn and grain. Rather poor.

Bottle. Weak taste, hoppy beer, some malt flavour to speak of. Just about average.

Never tried a Kvass before, so perhaps I was shocked by the weird fruity taste. No real aftertaste, weird mix of bread and grapes and some slight carbonation. I finished it, almost against my will.

500 ml bottle, brought to a tasting by someone who had bought it in Riga. ABV was 6%. At first I thought that he was pulling my leg, and that the content of the bottle really was a "radler" (cola beermix). Apparently it was the real thing. Reddish brown colour, low head. Minimal aroma, hints of cola. Flavour of RC Cola and cinnamon - weird. Not my idea of a Baltic porter.

330ml Bottle - Yellow in colour with some fluorescent hints (!).Lemon and a hint of tequila in the aroma. Sweet taste with sugary lemon and hints of tequila detected. It’s like a soft drink and I am struggling to detect any beer here. When will they stop producing such dross and when will I stop drinking it?!!??

Bottled@omhper. Dark ruby red colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel, sweetness, fudge and some mild fruity notes. Flavour is caramel, sugar, malts and quite much earthy notes. Artificial sweetness.

Bottled from Riga Airport. Almost black, small head. Aroma of cherry and vanilla. Sweet and medium bodied. Fruitywith cherry/chocolate flavour. The mouthfeel is industrial and lagerlike, and while the flavour is a bit artificial it retains some balance and drinkability.

330ml Bottle - Copper brown in colour. Cola aroma with a hint of sweet caramel. Sweet cola taste with more hints of caramel. More like a soft drink than a beer. Ridiculous idea.
