Cherrywood brown colour. Acetic acid on the nose with cherries, wood, toffee. I see this is an Alexander Rodenbach imitation! There is a hint of that character in the body as well, though toffee leads. Still, there are real quality control issues I think in Latvian brewing, as I had quite a few off beers in the limited amount that I tried.

Very light yellow. Grassy-grainy aroma with some berry notes. Very quick palate. Light. Malt-hops...what little there are...are in balance, but the water dominates. Yum.

Pale lager color, small white head. Sweet malty aroma with hints of black currant. Dry salty palate with some hops, decent malty body. Dry but same time oily, slightly alcoholic aftertaste. This is maybe not a very good beer but quite personal lager and certainly not typical Baltic strong lager.

Comes in a cool octaeder shaped bottle (Afanasiy style, for those who have seen that bottle). Unfortunately the good things end there. It is pale yellow and boosts a rather unpleasant adjunct aroma. It medium bodied, sweet and unclean with an offensive compost heap finish.
