6,0% ABV.

Bottled. Pale golden colour with a mediumsized foamy white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, some honey, hay and mild diacetylic elements. Flavour is honey, sweet malts, some herbal, mild earthy and some mild diacetyl tones.

0,5 from tap at Pētergailis restaurant with Snegurochka. A pretty pale lager in a tall slender glass does look nice. Sparkling clear golden straw body is inviting to look at. Topped by a pretty white head. Aroma is what you expect of straw, sugar and flour with notes of farmyard. Taste follows close on the heels of the aroma, so at least it is consistent. It also adds a strong impact of honey. Not bad. Well crafted with a nice enough mouthfeel. You'd be foolish to expect a wonderful experience from a pale lager (obviously) but as far as pale lagers go this is quite good, definitely in the upper reaches of this particular category of beers.

0,5 bottle at table, standard issue at Pētergailis restaurant with Snegurochka. Re-tasting after twelve (count them) years. Clear reddish brown body with small head. No significant lacing. Medium strength aroma of sweetish malts, prune compote and faint notes of smoke which are sadly overmatched by its sweetness. The interesting aroma is not really matched by the taste, which is weaker. A slightly soapy mouthfeel also contributes negatively but overall it is definitely still a drinkable dark lager. Formulaic but good start to Xmas holiday.

This beer existed a few years ago, but was discontinued, guess it's a new version. Smell- weak malt Foam-thin, large in mouth, roast, malt, bitter tones. Head is small, brown-white color. Appearance- brewer bottle simple label. From - teacup / bottle Taste - weak malt, roast, faint alcohol notes. Drinkable, but generally not too impressive.

100cl PET bottle from Rimi, Jugla Center. Pours dark caramel brown with a fast dissipating beige head. Aroma is dominated by wort, actually reminds me of Norwegian wort beer. Some caramel, malt and hints of dark bread. Sweet and fairly thin, but pleasant flavours.
