Can thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours with a white head that fades over and amber orange body. Aroma has a lot of caramel, a bit of tea and faded hops. Taste is caramel, sweet (too much crystal), tea and a hint of berries. Creamy carbonation.

This opens with a clear golden body that sits below a tall, thick, long lasting white head. Subdued malt and hop aroma. The flavor while not unpleasant is very low for what anyone would expect from a good IPA.

Shipped to my by my wife on a trip out west. Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a dark orange-amber color with huge beige head that lingered and produced great lacing. The aroma was sweetish grapefruit and pine with a light nutty undertone. The flavor was solid grapefruity and piney hops with sweet malts, lemon, nut and caramel elements blending nicely beneath the everpresent hoppiness. the finish was long and hoppy. Fairly full bodied. Quite solid.

Sample from a can at the "Portland? Psh More Like Beerland" tasting on 03/10/10. The beer is a clear orange color with a medium and frothy off-white head that evaporates to an outer ring eventually. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Floral hops and caramel malt in the nose. Medium body with a nice floral hops flavor that is is moderately bitter. Notes of sweet malt and grapefruit as well. The finish is hoppy with a lingering citrus aftertaste. Solid IPA all around.

Sample from a can at the "Portland? Psh More Like Beerland" tasting on 03/10/10. This brew is a clear amber-orange color with a thin off-white head that recedes quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma is malty and has a moderate hops presence too. Medium body with a roasted malt character and floral hops and citrus flavors. The finish is sweet and malty and lingers a bit. Decent overall.

22 oz bottle courtesy of bvc. Pour is a clear light golden with a two inch foamy white head that breaks up with big bubbles, but retains nicely. Falls with some thin lacing. Aroma is faint cereal grain, along with a touch of sweetness that is somewhere between apple honey and fruit stripe gum. Taste is pretty blah, some cardboardish grain malt, followed by (less) of the fruit sweetness from the nose, finishing with some dusty dirtiness. As it warms, quite a bit of typical macro pale lager rice type taste to it. Gets a bunch less pleasant. Palate is light (though on the medium side of light) bodied with slightly less carbonation than I expected. The finish is clean initially, then after taste gradually shows some of the dusty dirtiness again. Not all that great, though I always love to try a new lager. Thanks Brandon.
