Can that I picked up from Bellingers, Jet Garage, Grove Nr Wantage, Oxon, consumed 15-10-09 pours orange with a slight orange tinge, off white head which is a bit filmy, also touch of haze and medium carbonation. Some toffee in the bite, touch of stickiness and sweet malts but these are more than balanced out by the crisp refreshing nature of this beer. Soft in the mouth, a little flush of fresh hops, very pleasant. A7 A4 F7 P4 Ov15 3.7

Can that I picked up from Bellingers, Jet Garage, Grove Nr Wantage, Oxon, consumed 15-10-09 Pours yellowy gold with some haze and a white head. The aroma is a bit sweet, in fact there is a boiled sweets flavour going on. Taste is also quite sweet, but there is a pleasant though quite tame bitterness. Little bit of Werthers Original, some light orange, nice stuff. A7 A3 F7 P4 Ov15 3.6

33cl can big thaks to Reakt for this one, cheers Ang. Lovely Centennial aroma. Some toffee and a lot of sweet crystal malt. The problem is that there is not enough malt balance and character to carry the hop aroma and though there is bitter ness on the end, it’s a harsh bitterness rather than a more rounded finish. Still for an IPA in a can its pretty good. Some toastiness throughout.

Canned beer that I picked up from Bellingers Jet Garage, Grove, nr Wantage, Oxon 16-09-09 consumed the same day This pours for all the world looking like a classic UK bitter with just the right sized white head sitting atop as well. Wonderful hoppy aroma with pine and grapefruit lingering for a long while on the nose and a floral edge to it also. This has a nice initial hoppy sting that is tempered by a very pleasant honey sweetness, really tasty and most enjoyable. A7 A5 F7 P4 Ov 15 3.8

12 oz can purchased as a single at Oliver or Twist in Platte City, Missouri. Pour is mostly clear copper golden with a two inch off white head. Head is lasting, when it falls it leaves behind nice lacing. Aroma of fresh citrus (orange and pineapple) and resin hops with a nice caramel malt backbone. Nicely balanced nose. Taste is more resin than citrus, but is certainly the hops out of the gate. The resin is earthy and woody. The caramel malt is big as well. Balance is nice, as with the nose. Palate is medium, pretty heavy IPA mouthfeel. Carbonation is low, and the finish is minerally, almost dirty. Nice enough IPA.

12 oz can purchased at Olive or Twist in Platte City, Missouri. Pour is slight haze yellow golden with a nice one inch white head. Head falls slowly, with some lacing. There is a fair amount of fine carbonation floating from the base of the beer. Aroma of citrus pineapple grapefruit hops and sweet caramel malt. Nice balance on the nose, fresh. Taste is the nose, though the caramel malt is a bit more dominant then the grapefruit and pineapple hops. There is some apricot fruit present as well. Balance is nice, though the freshness of taste is not nearly the quality of the nose. Finish is dry, bitter with some mineral. Palate light to medium, active carbonation, drinkable. Nice one.

Can from Bellingers, Oxfordshire. An amber pour with decent white head. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Grapefruit, hoppy taste, slightly bitter. Refreshing. Hard to believe this is an IPA from a can. Very nice.

Location: 12 oz can from Norm's, 8/10/09
Aroma: Caramel and matly, toffee, light hops, light spice
Appearance: Hazy amber color, 2 fingers of lingering off-white head, some spotty lacing
Flavor: Smooth tasty beer, mostly malty with a light hop backing
Palate: A bit dry, solid mouthfeel, sessionable
Overall Impression: Not often do I buy a beer from Oregon in Md and go to rate it and find out I'm #29. Odd... I wonder if this one is just starting to get a bigger distribution network? Either way, tasty beer. Not overly exciting, but pretty solid and sessionable. I'd drink this beer again, definitely would make for a nice tailgating/camping/outdoor drinking beer.
