Disappointing. Very strange taste. I was looking forward to this red Weizen. Very little head, too.

(10.12.2021.)

0,5 l bottle. Copper in the glass, little bit cloudy and a nearly two finger foamy pale beige head. Low malty smell. Taste is more malty, little bit bready, some caramel in the background. Low hop bitterness. Nice one.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Hereford Beer House. Pours clear, rich hone-gold with a creamy, white head. Lightly sweet, nice crispy grains, basic hits, a little bitter straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, some crunchy pale bread, more biscuits, a hint of grass. Sound.

Murky, dirty amber with a big, foamy head. Dank, moldy aroma at the outset, but quickly settles into a blanket of caramel, banana and smoke.Taste is mildly sweet with lingering caramel and a hint of pepper. Medium bodied, very smooth, easy-going. Fairly simple but likeable.
