Description
Hoepfner is a traditional company. Founded in 1798, the brewery is one of the oldest still active companies in Karlsruhe. It is still brewed and bottled in the "Hoepfner Burg", built in 1896 in the east of Karlsruhe. “A breath of fresh air in old walls” expresses the will to combine the tried and tested with new ideas. A highly modern and innovative company can be found within the historic walls, which is run according to the company guidelines “Quality, Continuity and Partnership”.

Keg at restaurant in Karlsruhe . Unfiltered gold look. Quite thick drinking. Unremarkable taste. Fun to have a maß but too chunky for that.

Bottle at the home from the rot box. a MOSTLY CLEAR AMBER BROWN COLOURED POUR WITH A LASTING LOOSE OFF WHITE HEAD. aROMA IS semi sweet, nutty toffee malts, green apple, stewed fruit, light cardboard. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, toffee malts, thin raisin loaf, stewed apple curd, thin, brown sugars. apple raisin. Palate is thin, semi sweet, mellow carbonation. Should not have sat on this for this long.

Poues a cloudy golden color. Lemonade flavor. Light citrus sourness. Drinkable, but forgettable.
