16 ounce can. Amber gold pour. Small fluffy beige head. Fragrant biscuit malt aroma hints at cinnamon and vanilla. Flavor is light malt, cinnamon, vanilla, light coffee and warming pepper. Light bodied, yet flavorful. Warming heat from the jalapeños and and ancho chili’s shows up in the mid taste. Finishes spicy with notes of coffee.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Honey gold pour has a semblance of a beige cap. Faint yeasty malt aroma hints at alcohol. Sweet bready malt flavor is spicy with phenolic notes. More sweet than dry per the style. Decent nonetheless.

750ml bottle pours an inky black with some grey head. Nose has licorice, molasses, maple, caramel, bourbon, booze. Flavor has smoke and pencil lead to go along with the caramel and licorice. Full bodied, sticky finish.

Deep golden, copper and even bronze coloured body with a thinnish pure white head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of pale, biscuity malt, grass, lactose, caster sugar, grain and finishing with a very funky 'smelly feet' stink - wierd, but potent, in a bad way! Light-bodied; Deep robust malt notes dominate with some soft sweetness from the lactose and caster sugar, with a deep bitterness and a light nutty and earthy finish, but rounded out by the more noticeable yeast and lightly bready flavours toward the end, and the ever-present sweetness. Aftertaste is soft and balanced with malt and sugars, with a dry profile and nice understated earthy bite, but fairly easy-drinking and flavourful for the style. Overall, a nice cream ale with a good look and balanced flavour, unfortunately the style isn't the hippest, but it was solid and definitely worth trying to find if you like creams - just be prepared for the funky smell. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 23-June-2019 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 12-November-2019.

Relatively hazy tan and deep golden coloured body with hints of bronze and almost no head at all - fairly still. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, earth, nuts, grain, lactose and a deep deal of peat and smoked notes - very interesting, especially for a lighter ale. Light to Medium-bodied; Deep robust coffee and bittered malt flavours from the chocolate with some deeper grain, nuts and a touch of vanilla and canella is noticeable, but the malt and coffee are by far the strongest. Aftertaste shows the bitterness, grain, coffee and earthiness more than anything, but a smooth dry flavour with a very small amount of sweetness is noticeable at the end, mainly from lactose, but showing a touch of vanilla and biscuits as well. Overall, a fairly interesting beer that somehow doesn't really work out quite well, but does have some nice flavours, however, I do not notice any chiles or heat at all here - but I do notice canella and of course, coffee. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 23-June-2019 for US$3,39 sampled at home in Washington on 24-August-2019, just over two months later.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Caramel and butterscotch aromas. Soft butterscotch and caramel upfront turning to sourdough and pumpernickel in the bitter finish.

On tap at The Farm and Fisherman in Cherry Hill, NJ. Number one with a bullet. Dark brown color topped by a frothy beige head. Coffee and roasted malt nose with a hint of smokiness. First sip is sweet coffee and dark malt. Notes of caramel and more coffee. Some smokiness and herbal hops in finish. Decent, though I preferred the regular Morro Castle a tad more.
