Cask. Deep brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is roast, chocolate and some mild nutty notes to it. Flaour is roasted, nutty, chocolaty and some slight zesty, grassy and mild dried dark fruity tones.

24/8/2023. Cask at the 31st East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival. Pours clear golden amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma is buttery, popcorn, citrus, grapefruit, orange, bread, yeast. Quite sweet with moderate bitterness and body. Soft carbonation. Touch of spice and light tartness came through to finish. got better.

Cask @ Rose & Crown, Cleckheaton. Slightly hazy golden-blonde with a thick creamy head. Hoppy, smoothish in the palate with some English style mildly stewed fruitiness available.

CSk at the cardinals hat. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are grapefruit and lime. Citrus crisp. Slight bitter finish. Crisp body.

Handpull cask at the Polka Hop, Wakefield. ABV 4.5%. Very dark brown, a bit translucent with a full khaki head. Malty aroma, chocolate and some black bread notes. Sweet taste, malty but with sharp cherry character. Bittering hop in the finish. Oily body, soft carbonation. Not so big on personality but still pretty damn good.
