Pours a dark brown colour with a reddish tint and a small thick creamy off-white head. The aroma is roasted malts with a hint of fruit. A moderately sweet roasted taste, sweet roasted malts, light raspberry notes and a smooth roasted finish.

Wetherspoon Autumn Beer Festival 2018. Cask @ Regal Moon, Rochdale. Dark reddish-brown with a small creamy head. It’s slightly gritty tasting despite roasted malts being relatively light, with an easy enough texture. It’s somewhat porter-like.
