Gift from my brother โ drunk at home. Pours a bright sparkling copper with a sizeable frothy off-white head. In the mouth it starts off fruity with malt, nuts and oranges. Later there comes a dry metallic bitterness which swamps the fruit, and reveals a carmale base. Fish is dry with both fruit and bitterness present. A good solid traditional bitter.

Cask at CPK, Pimlico on 24th September 2021. Clear amber with shallow foam and full lacing. Citrus hop zest and hazelnut malt aroma. Nutty malts and tangy fruits in-mouth, and a juicy finish with a little upper mouth bitterness. Full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Superb.
