(Bottle 33 cl) Quite pale with a pretty, dense and big head. Nice hops on the nose and a very pure, clean taste with a neat, discreet hoppiness on the palate. Nice as a thirstquencher, but basically a Pils like thousand of others. 110403

Test vom 15.3.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,5,9,6,6,8 - 7,40

2004 bottle @ Cafe Tremonte in Woburn, MA. Well I wanted a beer with dinner on Friday night and as the only other options were bud, bud lite and amstel lite, I chose this (the lesser of four evils?), so I may as well rate it. I really like Silktork’s review of this and reading it now, it is funny that he mentions how pasteurisation dosent seem to have as much of an effect on lagers as ales. I found myself babbling about this to my girlfriend while I was drinking it, something to the tune of, "this really isnt that bad for a pasteurised, filtered beer." And it isnt. Nothing great, but it has a good sparkle from the fake carbonation, which, when factoring in the small bite of hops makes this very refreshing. Served in a kolsch glass, I drank this thing in about a minute. Pale yellowish-green color, small white head. Aroma of light apples and grass. Relative to most other beers in the style, it’s quite good.

330 ml bottle. Golden colour, low to none head. Fruity aroma, hints of strawberries. Pale bock qualities, alcoholic warmth. Not bad.

An orange beer with a fine white head. The aroma is sour with strong notes of hops, that try to hide the lack of alcohol, but doesn’t do the job. The flavor is thin, grassy, and quite flowery. A plain boring low-alcohol beer.

Golden coloured with a disappering head. Somewhat malty aroma. Sweet and malty flavour. Drinkable, but that’s about it.

Clear golden coloured body with almost no head and nothing else notable. Aroma of pale malt and a cardboardiness quality. Light-bodied; No taste but a bit of stale malt. Fresh finish with a quick, distinct malt taste, but that is about it. Overall, not a great beer-similar to the flagship beer by the brewer. I sampled this 12 ounce bottle on 09-June-2004 at Burton (in Darlinghurst) in Sydney, Australia.

Bottle - Cereal aroma, light yellow color. Taste of cornflakes. Typical low alcohol swill - don’t really see the point.

Darker gold, clear; huge, whipped cream-head, yellowish, fast reciding. Breath-taking caustic malts nose. Tastes like some carbonated worts - from coloured, poor quality malts. Mouthfeel like a carbonated soft drink - some third world cola. Positively awful. In fact, a lot like regular Asian or Soviet lagers I’ve rated recently - the oversaturated CO² injection not counting. Goes to show you...
