Can thanks to my Bro. It pours slightly hazy deep reddish - brown with a small frothy white head. The aroma is soft, smooth, rich honeyed character, honeyed cake, damp wood, brown bread, ryvita, toffee, dried fruits and fruit cake. The taste is soft, fairly mellow actually, pleasing honey character which isn't dominant or too sweet, brown bread, toothy, touch tannin, touch of toffee, some dried fruits, fruit cake and warming alcohol with a drying, dried fruity finish. Fulsome body and average carbonation. Strikes a nice balance. Doesn't quite have the depth I expected, but it's decent to anyhow.
