Hand pulled half pint in the Crazy Dragon (Whitchurch) on 23rd May 2025. Golden body, almost clear; white affair on top. Hoppy with both piney and citrusy notes, some caramel malty sweetness squeezed in too, but it's a hoppy bitter IPA primarily.

Bottle from Wales Ales. Pours a mostly clear dark gold/light amber with a small foamy off white top. Aroma and taste has an earthy malt, hint of blueberry, caramel, straw. The blueberry addition is subtle but adds an extra dimension to a solid pale ale base. There are some citric and grassy notes from the hops. Decent.

Can from Vinomondo, Conwy. Aroma is chocolatey with a bitter edge. Opaque cola brown. Thick fluffy foamy beige head. Initial chocolate flavour, followed by a wave of resinous bitterness. Peripheral herbs. Medium bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Very much a hoppy Stout as far as BIPAs go.

Bottle. Color: Clear golden, white head. Aroma: Malty, floral. Taste: Malty base, bread, floral and subtle fruity (hints of citrus fruit and stone fruit) hop backbone. A little sugary. Over moderate sweet, moderate bitterness, going to over moderate at the dry-ish and more hoppy finish. Just over medium body, just below average carbonation. Ok overall.
