Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Alexey. Hazy yellow with almost no head. Aroma of stale hops, dust, a bit honey-ish. Flavor has some sweetish malt, stale dusty hops, light fruitiness and a light bitter note. Watery.

Bottle looks really, really good. Beer in the glass deep black, nice head. Heavy malty aroma. Starts intense malty, heavy, strong, earthy notes. Hints of liquorice. Warming-malty finish, goes down burning. A great beer!

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As CREW Republic 7:45 Escalation ].Hazy matt golden medium orange color with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, grapefruit, sweet orange, zest bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20140311]

Orange colour with a whithe thin head. Smell is nice, citrus, melon, peach, quite sweet, probably the caramel malts. Taste is more weak, with a waterish texture. Not really dry, a bit sweet. Easy drinkable, very easy, but too watery in my opinion. Sure is a beer created to be easy to drink, with low alcohol, but not for me.

Bottle from Die Bierothek, Bamberg. Clear gold with a slight, white, head. Big, slightly harsh, sweet corn aroma. Easier drinking, with some stone fruit character, and solid malts leading to a gentle finish. A bit of a mixed bag.

Bottle. Deep gold with a decent, off-white, head. Dense, sweetish, cereal malt and leafy hop aroma. Flavour was less sweet, but also fairly malty, with a dab of citrus fruit before the hops emerged in the finish, accompanied by a whiff of pine. Good
