(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, dark amber to brown colour with a beige and short foamy head. Yeasty aroma with notes of dried fruits, raisins, caramel, accompanied by a delicately nutty and vinous malty notes. Sweet and moderately bitter flavour, full bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Robust caramelly malty base with notes of dried fruits and a delicately nutty touch; balanced sweet-bitter finish with resiny and slightly herbal hops, the alcohol is warming but not disturbing. 15.VII.14

Taste is citrusy, yeasty and spicy with notes of wort, grainy malts and herbal hoppiness. Finish is grainy, yeasty and stuffy with some hints of wort, citrusy notes and herbal hoppiness. A bit strange.

Bottle looks very simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, malty, light sourish notes. Modest fruity like lemon. Light salty hints. Finish less fruity, more malty. Okay.

A black beer with an almost medium and dark beige head. The nose has strong salt liquirice, liquirice, some malts and espresso. Great aroma. Taste has liquirice, some smoke, also salt liquirice and bready malts. Quite strong sweetness fullfills the rich taste. Full bodied, low carbonation, fresh anyway. This is great beer, strong and great salt liquirice is dominating but still balanced.
