330ml bottle picked up at Fresh Field Market in Croydon. Bubbly off-white head to a clear golden body. Fair lacing. Grassy hops on the nose, rather dry. Taste of grass, mango and leafy hops followed by a bitter tail. Soft in the mouth. Satisfying (hotel room, shared with Finn 30.11.2015).

Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is semi dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Light malts provide thin creamy sweetness, little lactose as well. Hops are medium bitter. Light orange and a touch of orange peel. Finishes smooth and semi dry and mildly bitter. Not bad. Amber Ale though?

Cask. Gravity dispense. 41st Steel City Beer Festival. Served by the best bar volunteer in the place. Did he not give a shit! Anyway, the beer is lightly hazy, dark, cola brown. No head to speak of. Lots of coffee grinds on the nose. Not a great deal else, really. Some cocoa. Taste is earthy, roast bitter. Medium body. Finish is earthy, raw coffee. Ok. Bit one dimensional.

Bottle. Curious Hop, Otley. Hazy orange. Bubbly, fast disappearing, white head. Lightly jammy, bready malts. Soft toffee. Taste is malty sweet, and soft bitter. Bit fizzy. A bit watery. Finishes light bitter, with more of the malty sweetness. Not for me, this one.

Bottle. Curious Hop, Otley. Opaque gold. Voluminous, lasting, white head. Nicely balanced, sweet, granary bread malts, and grapefruit marmalade hops. Bit of a zesty tang. Taste is zesty bitter. A little dryness. Crisp, prickly palate. Some sweetness emerges at the end. Super sessioner.
