330ml bottle from the Crafty Pint, Darlington. Orange-golden amber colour, white foam head and aroma of tropical fruit mango & citrus hoppy. Flavour is sweetish, bready malt caramel with tropical fruits, floral, citrus, grapefruit & woody hop resin bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry spicy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Keg. Leeds International Beer Festival. Clear amber. Huge, foamy, cream coloured head. Took some wrestling into the glass. Fresh, rich, orange hop. Light, resinous notes. Herbal and oily. Toasty, buttery malts. Taste follows the nose, and feels well balanced. Smooth body. Fine carbonation. Finishes moderately bitter. Juicy and resinous. Nice one.

On cask, Devonshire Cat, Sheffield - Rich deep brown body, thick white head. Nose is boozy and smoky whisky notes, lots of roastiness there too. Taste is sour, unpleasant and overly sour. Oh, I said that. Lived up to the trade description - Bad and Brown.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a thick creamy head. Strong tasting, with a nose that also indicates this. Hopped with a light fruitiness in its background.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Clear deeper amber coloured with a small creamy head. Tropical fruit hopped, but certainly with a noticeable strength that’s heavy in the palate.

Tap East Collab Fest. Cask. This is reported to be a lager. Hazy gold beer, no head. Palate is light with decent fine carbonation. Light sweetish malts. Mild to medium floral lime throughout. Touch of something spicy before a light dry finish. Not bad, I found this quite drinkable.

Cask at Tap East. Hazy gold no head. Sorachi Ace pineapple coconut aroma. Not much of a lager more a sorachi ace golden ale. Quite like the pineapple but it’s quite dry too. Bit thin in the mouth.
