Bottle shared at Cotteridge get together. Vague hazy coffee aroma. Dark cola brown. Medium beige head. Bitter, more so into the finish. Underlying creamyness. Medium bodied..Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Long finish. OK but basic.

Bottle split at Cotteridge Convention IV, many thanks, 23/06/18. Light black with a decent tan head. Nose is chocolate, spice, charr, mellow roast. Taste comprises cocoa powder, dried fruits, raisins, toffee, brown sugar. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Ok.

Bottle, split at Cotteridge. Black. Decent tan head. Nose has tar. Some leather. Demerara sugar. Taste is rich, roast malt bitter. Some lip sticking sweetness. Foamy carbonation. Fairly drying. Decent balance of sweet and bitter on the finish.

Bottle at the Fat Cow, Lat Phrao, Bangkok. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, chocolate, vanilla, coconut. The flavour is moderate sweet, light liquorice bitter with a smooth rich oily, roasty malt, light liqouirce, chocolate, light dry pepper spice, hop bitter palate. Full to medium bodied with flat carbonation.

Bottle from the Fat Cow on the Roof, Bangkok. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a thin off white head. The aroma is dry roasty malt, coffee, chocolate, oaky boozy alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet, liquorice bitter, with a silky smooth rich roasty, warm alcoholic, dry coffee, lactose, chocolate, liquorice bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation. One of the best Thai beers I've tasted.
