Bottle from YOLO, Bangkok. Poured a hazy dark brown with a frothy, short-lived light tan head. The aroma is dry roasty malt, charcoal, roasted coffee. The flavout is light sweet, liqourice bitter with a smooth, rich, dry roasty malt, big coffee, light sweet caramel, light chocolate, liqourice hop bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at the Fat Cow, Bangkok. Poured a murky medium brown with a frothy short-lived white head. The aroma is grassy resin nettle hop, light alcohol. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a malty, light fruit, alcoholic resin hop, light sweet caramel palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I'm no major fan of the style but this beer has flavour and is well balanced.
