Not too impressed here. Thin and fizzy. Grass like flavors too. Follow tradition - when in India do as the Brit's did long ago - Order the India Pale Ale.

Pale golden, ok head. Ok balance - smooth. Lightish body. Not quite as sucky as other indian beers I have tasted.

Very slightly hazy golden colour with a thin and quick dissipating white head. Aroma of malt, metal and a bit of hops...not much though. Light-bodied; Stale vegetable taste with not much at all. Aftertaste light, mild and nothing going on at all. Overall, this beer isn't bad, but it simply lacks in flavour. I bought this 330 mL bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York.

(330 ml bottle, brewed by Shepherd Neame, England). I have probably used this beer to wash down some Indian food in England, had to buy it again in Norway to rate it without food (by special order, it's normally sold only in our Indian restarants). Besides being wet and thus fit to help you survive a hot curry, this beer has nothing "Indian" or any other quality that should put it on a beer geek's wish list. Light golden colour, low head, Heineken-like aroma, uninteresting flavour but at least a hint of bitterness. Typical mediocre lager, not good, but not as bad as I expected.

I tried this awhile back and somehow forgot to rate it. First of all, this is the heaviest 11oz bottle you can find. You could probably throw it against a wall and not break it. Pours a pale gold color with a medium white head. No real lacing to speak of. Minimal aroma of hops, luckily there was no skunk aroma present. Flavor was typical boring Lager stuff. Light hops and light malt is about all you can find. I know there must be some good Indian beers out there.

Not as good - the second time around. ------- A yellow beer with no head. The aroma is very bitter and the flavor is primarily hoppy and then sweet - a very fresh beer, like a czech pilsener - but not quite as good. An above average pilsener

Gold with fast fading stark white head.Light floral/malt nose and flavor. Ok, but nothing special

"Slow brewed for the connosieur" LOL, I hadn't had a laugh that good in at least a couple of hours. Pale straw, virtually no head, very fizzy. Mild sweet & sour aroma, with the barest hint of grassy hops. It has an interesting and unique dry empty finish, but I wouldn't say it was a good thing.

This is really not a good beer at all. Weak yellow color with virtually no head or effervescence. No aroma. Insipid, uninspired flavor. I poured most of this one out.
