12 ounce at Scott’s Addition location - inky black with a moderate tan lace - nose is heavy on chocolate, coffee, and moderate bourbon barrel character - a nice blend of young and aged stout - coffee leads, followed by chocolate, whiskey, oak, toffee - overall impression is like an espresso truffle - finish is lightly a Racine but otherwise it is solid.

16oz can pours a clear, dark gold with a ring of white head. Nose has malt and corn, bread dough, a little plastic. Malt in the mouth, bread crust, corn, a little wood. Light tannins, just dry.

US Pint can shared at Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur, courtesy of David. Poured a hazy golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, rich, fresh, juicy citrus, mango, light pineapple, dry, light mineral, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Sampled at Juova from bottle.
The beer poured black in color.
Aroma of banana (piltti)(baby food). Light roastedness. Very sweet. Despite the sweetness, this is actually really tasty.

Generous share by Shig. Baby Duvel at home.

Flat, opaque, ruby brown pour. Residual goop sticks to the bottle.
Aroma is rich sour plum, black cherry & hibiscus black tea. The grapefruit pith is plenty fumes & irritating in my nose but is no longer grapefruit.
Bruin malt feels with extra black cherry juice & skin. Very tart yet sweet, it's all dark cherry skin & grapefruit pith bite. There is some slight medicinal 'tussin that I'm ignoring.
Boozy warmth, lingering acidity, coating, didn't need carb.

Great.
