Bottle. Green apple aroma, very distinct and sweet, somehow artificial. Golden colour, very small white head. Apple flavour, marcipan, a bit sweet. Seems to have a bitterness like an apple core. Swelling mouthfeel. Nasty aftertaste, like very cheap white wine.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm (as Mort Subite Oude Lambic). Lightly hazy golden, creamy head. Funky citric nose with a hint of dust. Very dry and concentrated with a hint of tropical fruits. Hardcore, almost Cantillon style acidity. Great stuff!

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm 29 Apr) Colour is deep red, with a thick pink head. Nose is acidic and sour with hints of cherry. Taste is very acidic and harsh with hints of cherries and rhubarb. Too much carbonation leaves a prickly mouthfeel. A nice try at some serious lambic making, but not particularly complex. 2) (Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm 16 May 2006) Colour is dark red, almost ruby, pink foamy head. Nose is fruity and acidic with cherries and hints of almonds. Taste is very acidic, a bit harsh, with a nice cherry taste and hints of almonds. The cask version was slightly better and more complex than the draught version. Good stuff.

Draught, sold with hand made label reading "Mort Subite Kriekenlambic" at Akkurat, Stockholm. Fresh sweet cherry aroma. Dry with intense initial acidity. Concentrated juicy citric flavour. The cherries adds a sweetish flavour, but they are far from the magnificently complex flavour of the Schaerbeekse krieken. The acidity however is hardcore. Really traditional, but lacks a bit of flavour depth.

Draught. Quite acidic aroma. Dark prune colour, no head. The flavour is slightly sweet and a bit acidic with earthy undertones. Aftertaste is acidic and seems to have some aspartam.

Draught. Berry aroma. Cloudy golden/orange colour. Small stable white head. The flavour starts off sweet, but then I get some berries, and spices of the Gammel Dansk kind.

Golden amber, good carbonation, huge foamy white head. Light fruity (apricot) and horseblanket aroma. Not fantastically sour. Straw mold horseblanket. Mild, sparkly easy drinkable.
