Draft glass @ CML Fontainas. Hazy orange, soapy white head. Nose is acidic varnish lovely hugely puckering almost medicinal, great bright sourness. Taste is sour vanish, huge flower, puckering in a good way almost vinegar, acetone with massive elderflower finish. Body is likewise. Harsh almost pour notes but I loved it, almost like a vinegary off Mamouche in a great way, touch too medicinal punishing but very lovely overall.

@ BXLfest 2017. Couleur pourpre, col fin rosé. Profil et caractère aigrelet fortement axé sur les groseilles noires avec un léger effet terreux arrivant plus sur la fin de bouche. Le tout est moyen voire faible en effervescence, l'acidité de baies noires est prononcé sans pour cela être surfait. Je ressens bien le fruit avec une fine note malt en retrait qui apporte une base.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Rocket Boxbeers Black Box ].Clear dark brown black colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, wood - tobacco, wood, alcohol - bourbon, light smoke. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood - tobacco, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, bourbon, light smoke. Body is mediumto full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20170817] 7-4-7-4-15

Thank you for sharing Martinus! Sampled draft @ BXLBeerFest 2017. Not black actually, made with black raspberries if I remember correctly. Super dark red. Nose is acidic raspberry vinegar. Taste is raspberry jucie, less sour than the smell suggested, raspberry pits, faintest funk, still quite puckering. Low on carbonation, veering to faintly watery.

Keg at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear golden, rich head. Bretty nose with pine and citrus. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Sugar and brett dominates. Some ripe mango. Long bitter finish. Unpolished.
