(On tap @ La Souche Limoilou, Quebec City, Nov 15/22) Pours nearly clear bright straw gold with a thick white head and a carpet of lace. Aroma and flavour both dominated by delicate, floral white grape with a little pale citrus component, smooth softly sweet honey, light hay-inflected saison yeast, nice subtle cereals and refined Brett. Lightly tart but mostly dry, finishing bone dry with some smooth honeyed pale citrus grapeiness in the aftertaste and a little rustic cereal bitterness. Medium-bodied, very creamy and very soft carb for a saison. I enjoyed this but felt it was a bit too subtle to really pop, though coming where it did after Brett & Sauvage and alongside a BA Messorem stout was unfair to it as well.

Can pour from trade with Johnnnniee--thanks, John! It's a hazy, maple-syrup brown with nice sparkle, 3-finger pale tan foamy head with good retention and spotty lacing. Aroma is toasted malt/burnt sugar. Taste is earthy toasted malt. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with mild lingering bitterness. Overall, nothing special but pretty fair Dunkel representative.

Hazy and pale. Lots of lemon lime in this, and a bit of salt. A bit malty, tart, with plenty of lime. The salt comes in. Despite its strength, it actually does have a nice gose character.

On tap at Vices & Versa, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright piney hops, some resins, a touch of stone fruits, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is indistinguishable from a west coast IPA, with loads of piney hops, mildly oily resins, and crisp biscuity malt. Crisp, piney and well-balanced. Excellent.

On tap at Vices & Versa, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp grassy hops, biscuity malt, and some seltzery notes. Flavour is similar, with grassy, herbal notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Not the most vibrant or crisp pilsner, but the clarity is good. Solid.

(473ml can shared by Eric, thanks!) Pours slightly hazy pale straw with a tiny white head. Notes of grassy, leafy hops, grapefruit peels, some citrus pulp, melon rinds, lightly sweet crackery malts, quite dry though the sip and bone dry on the finish, light grass and citrus oil bitterness, crisp minerality, cereals popping through slightly. Light bodied, slightly oily, moderate carb. On the whole, a bit light but it's a session IPL so of course it is. Crispy and refreshing with decent hop profile.
